Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is maybe the most interesting development for public transport internationally. Knowledge about BRT, its features, use and possibilities, is in Sweden limited. On the other hand, it is not for sure that BRT systems fill the same gap in Sweden as in many other countries in for example South America and Asia. KTH works with Trivector, PT companies and the Swedish bus industry, making a pre-study to collect knowledge and identify research questions for upcoming research- and development projects.

Period: 2007-09-01 - 2009-01-31

Keywords:
BRT, Bus rapid transit implementation
